The goal of this course is for the participant to understand intricacies of wound principles and wound healing in order to determine the overall objectives for wound care. There will be an additional course covering wound management goals and use of wound products.

- Explain the three phases of wound healing.
- Discuss two common factors that can impair wound healing.
