The state of health care in the United States has consistently been one of the perennial political “hot topics.” The current journey of health care reform began in 2010 and continues to have changing waves and rippling effects across the health care system. This article is to review the history of health care in the United States and assess where we stand with the current laws as well as how it affects the delivery of health care within the country.
