Caring for Newborns in NICU
The goal of this course is to help nurses learn about physical adjustments babies need to make outside the mother’s body, the assessment of the newborn, maternal high risk factors, delivery factors, baby factors, the Apgar Score, evaluations of the baby’s neuromuscular system, factors linked to prematurity, and different levels of care in neonatal intensive care units.
