This course is intended to reveal the distinction between the patient, the family and the nurse when the patient is suffering a catastrophic illness. The course will discuss the effect it has on all concerned. The course will also explain, in detail, how the patient’s illness has severe ramifications for the patient and the family and how all are affected by the hospitalization and the outcome.
