Understanding and Improving Communication Styles
Each day nurses interact many with different patients from many different backgrounds, educational level, and personal experience. In order to be the most effective, nurses must meet each patient where they are and determine the best way to effectively communicate. What works for one patient may not work with the next patient. The best communicators understand how to both listen and respond to others.
