ABCs of Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Therapy
The purpose of this course is to provide a greater understanding of a ventricular assist device (VAD) therapy and its application. Assisting the nurse in understanding the mechanism, indications, categories, complications, and precautions associated with using a VAD increases the nursing professional’s confidence level.
