The goal of this course is to increase the perioperative nurses’ knowledge of latex allergy/sensitivity; and improve the perioperative nurses’ ability to recognize the different types of allergy/sensitivity, and concurrently assist the perioperative nurse gain a better understanding of how to manage the patient with an allergy to latex.
