The goal of this course is to assist the professional nurse in the understanding of the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment options for a subdural hematoma. In this course the professional nurse will be informed of the risk factors, signs and symptoms, and general information on acute subdural hematomas and chronic subdural hematomas. Additionally, a brief review of the anatomy of the brain will be presented.
