Part 1 of Wound Care: Assessment, Evaluation and Documentation
The goal of this course is to understand intricacies of wound assessment in order to determine objectives for wound care. Trends in the health care arena, such as well-designed clinical trials and reimbursement issues, are the driving forces that require assessment and evaluation of wounds as a mandatory part of wound care. This course is designed to assist the nurse in learning how to perform more accurate wound assessment using the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. There will be additional courses covering wound principles, goals of wound management and use of wound care products
