The goal of this course is to assist the participant to understand the indications, complications, contraindications associated with Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs). Course content will also place emphasis on the nursing management including insertion methods, assessment, catheter maintenance, line removal, patient education, and documentation regarding PICCs.
