The goal of this course is to offer education regarding safe and effective prescribing, administration and dispensing of controlled substances in patient care.A further goal of this course is to help health care professionals ensure patient safety; prevent the abuse and diversion of controlled substances and identify drug- seeking tactics and behaviors.
