The goal of this course is to provide nurses working with oncology patients the education necessary to recognize signs and symptoms of oncologic emergencies. The program will review treatment therapies, and risk reduction strategies. In addition, an overview of treatment options in promoting compassionate end-of-life care and the correct treatment for the (advanced stage) oncology patient will be discussed.
