This course provides information about the laws and rules that are applicable to the practice of nursing in the state of Florida. It includes information from the 2019 Florida Statutes, Title XXXII – Regulation of Professions and Occupations, Chapters 456 and 464 of the Florida Statutes, and the general provisions of Division 64B9 of the Florida Administrative Code. This course satisfies the mandatory requirement of the Florida Board of Nursing for two (2) contact hours of education related to “Florida Laws and Rules” for APRN, RN, and LPN licensure renewal each biennium.
