This course focuses on current and updated information about domestic violence, intimate partner violence, child abuse, and neglect and abuse of the elderly and dependent adults. Common forms of domestic violence are explored. Professional nursing and healthcare worker responsibilities regarding prevention, recognition, intervention, and reporting of domestic violence are also addressed.
